Volcano Rainforest Estate

Volcano Rainforest Estate is located in a secluded, private, 9-acre forest. Each room is designed to view the forest and lava outcroppings. We are located only a few minutes from the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park main entrance near Kilauea summit and the friendly artists community of Volcano Village. The estate was designed with privacy in mind. No other guests will be on the property during your visit.

Our History

We love the land and all that it has to offer. We have been in the vacation rental business for 20 plus years in the state of Hawaii. Our history is simple we love the islands. We have had family living on the islands for years. Sharon, Rob’s mom has also put so much love into the land, and the start of this home. We are so happy and thankful for all of Sharon’s help with taking care of so much. Most importantly, just being involved in every part of this beautiful Estate.
We built this home to one day be our forever home and decided that we wanted to share our love with so many others. This home was a dream in the making way before construction ever happened. We hope that you enjoy and love the land as much as we do.

Gourmet Kitchen

Custom furnishings include comfortable seating, small tables for in-room dining while enjoying the views of the forest, birds, and nature. On your private lanai you can enjoy the sounds of the forest, relax and disconnect and enjoy a respite from noise, pollution and the hurry of everyday life. Some of the custom furnishings using native Hawaiian woods were built by the owner.

Dining Room

Seating for 10 people. Custom furnishings include comfortable seating, small tables for in-room dining while enjoying the views of the forest, birds, and nature. Some of the custom furnishings using native Hawaiian woods were built by the owner.

Living Room

The Living room was very thought out to include all of the native Hawaiian forest, a beautiful lava rock fire place, native wood shelves with many artifacts, and mixed art. A custom made coffee table that has been in the family for many years. The living room gives a nice cozy feel to gather with family and friends.

Lanai/Porch

Lanai/Porch surrounds the home and allows seating to enjoy the view from many different locations of the home. To access the Lanai you have many exit options to choose form to allow for privacy around the home. The Lanai is a well thought out place to sit to enjoy the rain, sun, moon, and stars.

Deck/Patio

Can be part of the amazing Lanai, and also there is a small separate deck that is with the Jacuzzi a few steps away from the house where you can stargaze or just relax after an enriched day of exploring the beautiful amazing island of Hawaii.

Garden/Forest

The owner of the home during the exploration of the land and building process had only one goal in mind while creating an amazing home it was also and most importantly to preserve the land and the forest that is hundreds of years old. You will have an incredible view from every window in the home.
